Machine-only hire
Considered after JB confirms equipment availability, item and route suitability, delivery and collection, operator responsibility and the agreed hire conditions.
JB STAIR CLIMBERS · SYDNEY
Choose machine-only hire, a machine with a trained operator, or a complete JB managed move. Every pathway begins with the item and the full access route being assessed.
THREE SERVICE PATHS
JB confirms the suitable equipment, crew and handling method only after reviewing the complete job.
Considered after JB confirms equipment availability, item and route suitability, delivery and collection, operator responsibility and the agreed hire conditions.
A JB operator attends with suitable equipment after the load, stair route, landings, protection and safe working space are assessed.
JB coordinates the equipment, trained crew, protection, transport and final placement as one assessed heavy-item moving plan.
ASSESSMENT BANDS
These are rated equipment categories, not a promise that any item can be moved on any staircase.
What JB needs: item type, verified or estimated weight, dimensions, pickup and delivery locations, stairs and landings, access widths, surface conditions, photos or video, and the final placement area.
SYDNEY STAIR-CLIMBER QUESTIONS
Machine-only hire can be considered after JB confirms the item, route, delivery and collection plan, operator responsibility and equipment availability. A rated capacity alone does not confirm that a machine is suitable for a particular job.
JB assesses 400 kg rated red stair climbers and 800 kg rated blue stair climbers. The item, dimensions, weight distribution, stairs, landings, surfaces and operating space must all be reviewed before equipment is confirmed.
Loads in the 601–800 kg range require coordinator review. One-tonne and heavier work is routed to a broader engineered heavy-removals assessment and is not treated as standard stair-climber hire.
