REAL JB PROJECT · COMMERCIAL PRINTERS & STAIR ACCESS

300–500 kg Printer Relocation Over Stairs in Sydney

Heavy commercial printers, a four-person crew and two types of stair climbers.

JB Removals relocated printers weighing between 300 and 500 kg over stairs in Sydney. The job required careful handling from the first transfer onto the moving equipment through to the stair route and onward relocation.

One of the most delicate stages came before the stairs: getting each bulky printer onto a stair climber and supported for movement. The four removalists coordinated that transfer, protection and securing as part of the job.

THE COMMERCIAL RELOCATION

Heavy printer moving through Sydney stair access

The printers in this project were substantial commercial machines, with weights ranging from 300 to 500 kg. Their large bodies, panels and projecting components created a handling task that went beyond moving ordinary office furniture.

JB used a four-person crew and two types of stair climbers for the relocation. The supplied photos show blue and red powered stair-climbing equipment, alongside wrapping, blankets, securing straps and other moving tools.

The project brought together several stages: preparing the printers, transferring them onto the stair climbers, working through the staircase and managing the wider route and transport. The crew had to consider each transition as part of the complete move.

THE DELICATE PART

Getting a 300–500 kg printer onto the stair climber

The loading stage was a central challenge. Before a printer could travel over stairs, it had to move from its existing support onto the specialist equipment and be secured for the next stage.

The loading photographs show the crew working beside a wrapped printer, a pallet jack and the blue stair climber. Other views show printers secured against the red machine. These images capture the preparation and transfer work that sits behind the more visible stair movement.

For this job, the four removalists coordinated the bulky load and its support during those transitions. The printer body, surrounding workspace and stair-climber platform all formed part of that handling arrangement.

Weight and machine shape

A printer’s body and projecting parts affect the space it needs during loading and stair movement. The confirmed weights for this project ranged from 300 to 500 kg.

Changing the load’s support

Transferring a printer onto a stair climber is a distinct handling stage. The crew needed the machine supported and secured before continuing to the stairs.

Working space on the staircase

The printer, stair climber and crew shared a restricted stair route. The photographs show how much of the available space the secured load occupied.

THE HANDLING SEQUENCE

Protection, two stair-climber types and coordinated movement

01

Preparing the printers for handling

Protective wrapping and blankets are visible across the photo sequence. The large printer bodies remained accessible to the moving equipment while relevant surfaces and components were covered for handling.

02

Transferring onto the specialist machines

Getting the printers onto the stair climbers was one of the job’s delicate stages. The crew worked around the bulky machines and the available floor space, with a pallet jack pictured beside the blue unit during loading.

03

Securing the load on the stair climber

The photographs show straps holding the printers against the blue and red equipment. Securing and supporting the machine formed part of preparing it for movement over the staircase.

04

Moving the printers over stairs

JB used two stair-climber types during the project. Both are shown on the stair route with printers secured to them, with the crew coordinating the movement of the substantial commercial loads.

05

Completing the wider route and transport stages

The relocation continued beyond the staircase. The supplied photos show a wrapped printer at street level, commercial print equipment on a truck and the crew attending the moving setup within the premises.

THE COMPLETED PROJECT

A specialist commercial printer relocation in Sydney

JB completed the heavy-printer relocation with four removalists and two stair-climber types. The job covered printers in the 300–500 kg range and required particular attention to loading them onto the equipment before tackling the stair access.

It is an example of heavy lifting relocations in Sydney where the preparation and transfer stages are as important as the movement itself. The printer, handling equipment and complete route all shaped the work.

Planning a heavy printer move over stairs

Can JB move a 300–500 kg printer over stairs?

This Sydney project involved commercial printers in that weight range and two stair-climber types. For another printer, JB needs the machine and route details before confirming the method and crew.

Why does loading onto the stair climber matter?

The printer needs to transition onto the specialist equipment before the stair movement can begin. This job required close coordination around that delicate loading stage.

What information should I send for a printer relocation quote?

Send the make/model if known, weight, dimensions, any separate modules, collection and destination details, and clear photos or video of stairs, landings and doorways.

Will every printer use the same stair climber?

Two types were used on this project. The equipment for another move depends on the actual printer, load and stair route.

PLAN YOUR COMMERCIAL PRINTER MOVE

Need a heavy printer relocated in Sydney?

Send the printer’s details and photographs of the loading area, stairs and final destination. JB can assess the specialist handling needed from the first transfer to the end of the route.
