Residential rates only. Medium and large truck packages include two removalists. Ute-and-one-mover and truck-and-one-mover packages include one. INCLUDED WITH YOUR MOVE
Every truck comes with trolleys, dollies, moving blankets and shrink wrap for soft furniture and furnishings. These essentials are complimentary, with transit and public liability insurance included on every service. Furniture dismantling and reassembly are included in your hourly moving rate; the time required forms part of your moving time, with no separate service fee.
Equipment, protection and insurance are included. Furniture dismantling and reassembly form part of your billed moving time.
Every truck carries trolleys and dollies to help our crew handle your furniture and household items.
Moving blankets and complimentary shrink wrap for soft furniture and furnishings are supplied with every service.
Transit insurance and public liability insurance are included on every service, at no additional charge.
We can take furniture apart and put it back together as part of your move. There is no separate service fee; the time required is included in your billed moving time.
THE JB PRICING ADVANTAGE
After the two-hour minimum, residential moving time is billed in 15-minute blocks. A move taking 2 hours 15 minutes is billed as 2¼ moving hours, plus the stated 30-minute travel / call-out charge.
There is no stair surcharge or long-walk surcharge on residential moves. The time spent carrying and moving is simply part of your moving time.
Your hourly rate, minimum and travel charge are explained upfront. Any optional services or job-specific extras are disclosed and agreed before the work, so there are no surprise add-ons at the end.

Heavy moves are billed in 30-minute blocks.
The starting service includes stair climber machines, heavy equipment and a truck. JB assesses weight, dimensions, stairs, turns, gradients and surfaces to confirm the handling method, crew, suitable equipment and total scope. Additional plant, specialist operators and complex lifting arrangements are quoted for the job.
Heavy lifting starts at $390 + GST per hour. Heavy-service minimum time, travel and crew are quote-specific; the residential minimum has not been applied.

Furniture, appliances, cartons, garage contents and outdoor items determine the space and handling time. Tell us what will be packed and dismantled before arrival and where you need extra help.
