The complete handling method
Fridge stair and bench access
Three flights, narrow landings, multiple turns and limited manoeuvring room left little space for correction. The final location was separated from the approach by a service bench.
Planning the route
The item dimensions, weight, stair widths, turns, landings and final placement height were assessed together before the equipment sequence was confirmed.
Protecting the glass unit
The fridge was wrapped, padded and fitted with protective edging. Restraints supported the load without placing pressure on vulnerable glass.
Final placement
A scissor lift, ramp and specialist dolly created a controlled height transition so the fridge could be moved over the bench and guided into position.
