The complete handling method
Assess the movement path
The weight, dimensions, staircase, turning space, transitions, securing points and destination removal method were assessed as one system.
Protect and secure
The glass and vulnerable surfaces were re-wrapped with foam and protective edging before the machine was aligned and secured.
Mechanical control over manpower
The equipment supported the load progressively over the stairs. The crew controlled alignment and stability instead of carrying the full weight manually.
Why the method matters
A larger crew does not necessarily produce the lowest completed cost. The useful comparison is the equipment, methodology, crew requirement and likely completion time.
Arcade machine relocation outcome
JB completed the difficult stair component with three removalists in approximately 2.5 hours while protecting the machine and commercial route.
