How the Vaucluse bath move progressed
This film follows a freestanding bath move in Vaucluse, in Sydney’s Eastern Suburbs. Nine original clips show the equipment setup, bath preparation, protective wrapping and straps, stair-climber handling and the transition to the upper level.
The footage shows a bath secured to specialist equipment inside a stairwell with constrained clearances. The crew and wrapped bath are then seen on the upper level. The method shown belongs to this project; another bath or staircase requires its own item and access assessment.

Planning questions
Can JB assess a freestanding bath move on stairs in Vaucluse?
Send photographs of the bath, its dimensions and known weight, and the complete stair route, landings and access at both locations. JB can then assess suitable equipment, protection and crew for the job.
Does the stair climber suit every bath and staircase?
Suitability depends on the bath dimensions, weight, construction, stair width, gradient, landings and clearances. The video shows one assessed route; the method for another property is confirmed separately.
