These projects are published on JB’s stair-climber hire page. The brief job facts below come from that record; the planning questions explain what a customer can take into their own enquiry.
A previous job helps frame the conversation. It does not approve another item, staircase or method.
Marrickville: a 500 kg machine descent.

A 500 kg machine was moved down stairs using route protection, lifting support and a controlled descent method.
The planning lesson: describe the transitions.
A staircase is one stage of the route. Ask where the item starts, where the stair work begins and where it must finish. Give those points names that the supplier and receiving contact will recognise.
If another team is involved before or after the stair section, record the agreed handover point. That makes it easier to identify who needs to be present and what information remains missing.
Vaucluse: a 250 kg ice bath kept vertical.

The 250 kg ice bath remained vertical. The project included route inspection, protection and close-clearance stair control.
The planning lesson: pass on handling instructions early.
If your supplier has instructions about how an item may be transported, include them with the enquiry. Identify the source of the instruction instead of relying on an assumption or a photograph of another job.
Ask the supplier who will complete any required preparation before collection. Then share that responsibility with the moving provider so it is visible in the plan.
Bondi Beach: a 250 kg marble table.

The 250 kg marble-table move involved custom casing and specialist control through a restricted staircase.
The planning lesson: include preparation in the brief.
When discussing a valuable or fragile item, ask what preparation is proposed and where that work will happen. Make sure the item’s description, photographs and intended finish are available to everyone quoting.
If the supplier is arranging part of the preparation, record where its work ends. Keep that agreement beside the moving quote so separate teams are not relying on different assumptions.
Use the examples to improve your enquiry.
Choose the question most relevant to your move: the handover, the item’s instructions or the preparation. Add it to the information you send JB.
You do not need to decide the machine or reproduce a project method yourself. Explain the outcome you need and identify what is confirmed, what is estimated and what still needs checking.
Our hire responsibility guide helps you record who does what. For a delivery involving several providers, use the commercial delivery plan.

From a previous job to your own plan.
Can the same equipment be used for my move?
That needs a fresh assessment. A previous job does not establish that the equipment, load or route is suitable for another property.
Are these examples instructions for operating a stair climber?
No. They explain planning questions for your enquiry. Operating arrangements and the proposed method must be confirmed for the actual job.
