REAL JB PROJECT · COMMERCIAL & HEAVY MOVING
Two-Day Warehouse Machinery Relocation in Sydney
Six removalists. Two days. A mixed machinery inventory and a complete lifting-and-transport setup.
JB Removals completed this Sydney warehouse machinery relocation using trucks, forklifts, lifting slings, gantries and pallet jacks. The scope brought together heavy workshop machines, cabinets, test equipment and supporting benches.
Each item introduced a different handling challenge—from long machine beds and tall saws to instrument panels and bulky industrial assemblies.

THE PROJECT
A Sydney warehouse move involving heavy machinery and specialist equipment
The warehouse scope combined different machine shapes, working heights and supporting structures. A long lathe, tall vertical bandsaw, horizontal bandsaw, blast-related cabinets and pressure/flow-control bench were among the equipment shown in the supplied survey photographs.
JB provided six removalists over two days, alongside the trucks and mechanical handling equipment used for the relocation. Forklifts, slings, gantries and pallet jacks formed part of the job’s moving setup.
This was a commercial machinery move where the inventory mattered as much as the transport. A cabinet, an instrument bench and a substantial workshop machine each present a different load to move through the warehouse and onto a truck.
THE EQUIPMENT SCOPE
Workshop machines, test benches and industrial assemblies
The supplied photographs identify the equipment in scope. Machine names below follow visible features; the exact function of some specialised assemblies is not established by the images alone.
| Equipment pictured | Visible characteristics |
|---|---|
| Metalworking lathe | A substantial machine body, projecting handwheels and a long working bed. |
| Vertical bandsaw | A tall machine with a fixed table and projecting controls. |
| Horizontal bandsaw | A saw assembly, vice and base that need to be treated as a complete load. |
| Blast-related cabinets and extraction equipment | Separate cabinet forms and supporting frames; exact models are not specified. |
| Pressure and flow-control test bench | Instrument panel, gauges, hoses and a stainless-steel supporting frame. |
| Bench-mounted rotary/chuck unit | A rotary assembly and its supporting bench; precise function is not confirmed. |
| Heavy industrial machine assembly | Large flanged and rotary components; exact machine type is not confirmed. |
| Control cabinets and bench-mounted equipment | A mixed group of controls, workbenches and compact machinery. |
WHAT MADE THIS MOVE DIFFERENT
Different machine forms, one coordinated relocation
Heavy machines with different footprints
The lathe’s long bed, bandsaws’ tall or extended frames and cabinet bases created a varied equipment scope. Weight alone would not describe the work.
Controls, gauges and projecting parts
Handwheels, instrument panels, hoses and exposed assemblies were visible across the inventory. These details helped distinguish each item’s handling requirements.
A two-day commercial moving operation
Six removalists worked with the trucks and lifting equipment over two days. The relocation brought together internal movement, mechanical lifting and transport.
THE MOVING SETUP
Forklifts, gantries, slings and pallet jacks on the job
Working from the machinery scope
The equipment survey captured the selected machines, cabinets and benches before movement. The original arrows in the photos mark items in scope and provide a useful view of their size, shape and surrounding workspace.
Mechanical lifting with gantries and slings
Gantries and lifting slings were part of JB’s setup for this relocation. Mechanical lifting formed one stage of handling the substantial equipment alongside the forklifts and moving crew.
Forklift and pallet-jack movement
Forklifts and pallet jacks supported the movement of suitable loads during the warehouse job. Using multiple handling tools allowed the crew to work with a mixed inventory rather than treating every machine as the same type of item.
Trucks and a six-person crew
The trucks provided the transport component, with six JB removalists completing the two-day job. The team combined hands-on coordination with the forklifts, gantries, slings and pallet jacks used for the move.
REAL EQUIPMENT-SCOPE PHOTOGRAPHS
The machinery and equipment included in the relocation
Eight photographs document the selected equipment. The original red arrows identify scope items and remain visible in the gallery. Select a photo to inspect the machine or workbench more closely.
THE COMPLETED JOB
Two days of specialist warehouse machinery moving in Sydney
JB completed the relocation over two days with six removalists, trucks and a combination of forklifts, gantries, slings and pallet jacks. The project covered a varied warehouse inventory rather than a single heavy item.
It is an example of the commercial and heavy lifting relocations in Sydney where machine shape, supporting structures, access and transport all need to be considered together.

What equipment details should I send?
Include an inventory, photographs, known weights, dimensions and any manufacturer handling instructions. Photograph projecting parts, separate bases, cabinets and supporting benches.
What site information helps with a quote?
Share the pickup and destination details, doorways, loading areas, internal routes, floor levels and any access restrictions. Include your preferred relocation dates.
Will every machine use the same equipment?
This job used a combination of forklifts, gantries, slings and pallet jacks. The handling setup for another machine depends on its load characteristics and the actual site access.
Can JB assess a mixed commercial equipment inventory?
This two-day warehouse project included several types of workshop and industrial equipment. Send the full list so the team can review the combined scope and transport requirements.
