Heavy safe relocation from Dee Why to Palm Beach
JB Removals completed a residential safe relocation on Sydney's Northern Beaches, moving two safes from a house in Dee Why to a garage in Palm Beach. The larger safe weighed one tonne, while the second weighed 400 kg.
The driveway added a substantial access challenge to the move. The project combined handling at the house, transport between the properties and positioning the safes in the garage. The photographs show the safes, removal vehicles, specialist handling equipment and the team working through these stages.
Specialist safe movers for one-tonne and 400 kg loads
One-tonne safe removal with specialist equipment
The larger safe formed the heaviest individual load in this project. Photographs show it protected and secured within a specialist blue handling frame, with the team working around the equipment during the move and garage placement.
For a safe of this weight, the handling work extends from the pickup position to the final destination. Here, the job brought the equipment, transport and property access into the same heavy-moving scope.
Moving the second 400 kg safe into the garage
The second safe weighed 400 kg and was moved as part of the same relocation. The supplied photographs show the smaller safe secured on a wheeled trolley, with JB team members handling it in the garage.
The two weights describe separate safes. The one-tonne safe and the 400 kg safe each formed their own handling task within the overall Dee Why to Palm Beach move.
Heavy lifting and safe moving on a steep driveway
Managing the driveway as part of the access route
Steep driveway access was one of the defining features of this safe-moving project. The lead photograph shows the team moving the larger safe on specialist equipment along the sloping driveway, making the access conditions visible within the case study.
The move therefore needed to connect the property route with the handling equipment and transport arrangements. Getting the safes between the truck and their intended position formed part of the job alongside the road journey.
Crane-truck handling during the relocation
The photographs also show a crane truck lifting a safe with slings beside the removal vehicle. This records another handling stage within the project, alongside the specialist frame used for the larger safe and the trolley pictured with the smaller one.
Timber boards, padding and straps are visible in the supplied images. Together, the photographs document the equipment and materials present during the heavy safe move.

Transport between Northern Beaches properties
The relocation ran from Dee Why to Palm Beach, both on Sydney's Northern Beaches. JB's work covered the heavy safes as part of a residential move from a house to a garage.
Positioning the safes at the destination
The garage photographs show the team working around the larger safe on its specialist moving equipment and handling the smaller safe on a trolley. Final placement formed part of the relocation scope.
This project illustrates why a heavy safe delivery needs to account for the route inside the property as well as the transport between addresses. The driveway and garage access were central parts of the move described here.

Safe removalists on Sydney's Northern Beaches
The Dee Why to Palm Beach project is a specific example of JB's heavy safe moving in Sydney: two substantial safes, transport between residential properties and specialist handling around a difficult driveway.
For a similar safe relocation, provide the weight and dimensions of each safe, photographs of the pickup position, driveway slope, thresholds and destination room. Include whether the safe is fixed in place and whether there are stairs or restricted access so the moving assessment can address the actual scope.
