A substantial marble centrepiece for a high-end Bondi hair salon: 500 kg out of the crate, 800 kg with its packaging. JB supplied a three-person team for delivery, uncrating, final placement and crate removal and disposal.

A heavy marble table for a Bondi salon fit-out
JB Removals delivered a crated marble table to a high-end hair salon in Bondi. The table weighed 500 kg, while the complete crated load weighed 800 kg. The scope covered more than getting the item to the door: our three-person crew unpacked it, placed the table in its intended position and removed and disposed of the crate after the work.
The finished table is a prominent feature within the salon, surrounded by styling stations, mirrors and carefully chosen interiors. This commercial delivery needed to address both the substantial incoming crate and the heavy marble piece that remained once the packaging was removed.
From an 800 kg crated load to a 500 kg marble table
Keeping the two load weights clear
The transport load was 800 kg including the crate. The marble table itself was 500 kg. That distinction matters when describing the job: the team handled the packaged delivery first, then worked with the unpacked table for placement inside the salon.
Delivery to the Bondi premises
The project photographs show the large timber crate on the truck outside the premises, with crane equipment and a pallet jack visible during the delivery stage. They then follow the crate into the salon and show the team working through the packaging.
Uncrating and final placement by three movers
Opening the timber packaging inside the salon
The team removed the table from its timber packaging as part of the delivery service. The photographs document the upright crate and the opened timber panels on the salon floor, giving a clear view of the unpacking stage before the job was finished.
Positioning the marble centrepiece
Once uncrated, the 500 kg table was placed in its intended position. The final photograph shows the oval marble tabletop and its substantial central base within the completed salon interior. Delivery and placement were handled within the same project by the three-person JB crew.
Removing and disposing of the crate
JB also removed and disposed of the timber crate after placement. This completed the agreed scope and meant the salon did not have to arrange a separate collection for the bulky packaging.
